Aims:
Engage with the wider ethnic minority community in Belfast; through forums, established groups and 1-2-1 contacts.
Identify and support any community health education gaps, by delivery of a range of health programmes, health messages, or 1-1 advocacy sessions.
Empower communities and individuals to lead with a range of community health programmes that reflect their own community health needs and community health interests.
To co-ordinate appropriate health training, support, and health education resources to communities; enabling them to deliver health education programmes and health messages to an agreed safe /PHA approved quality standard.
To provide key health messages to communities I.e. through established BME Health Lead Forums, to ensure communities are informed of local health updates/news/information.
